Stephen Braddock died in Tippah County MS on 7 June 1850, according to a notice in the "Laurensville Weekly Herald", published in Laurens SC. His widow Mary Braddock died about 4 November 1870 according to information provided by their son Jeremiah in the probate of the estate.
