Daniel Land Records 1718-1773,
extracted from Clara A. Langley's "South Carolina Deed Abstracts"

These are MY extracts of Clara Langley's wonderful abstracts. The first two numbers of an entry are the volume and page of HER books. The next two numbers (after the =) are the Book and page of the South Carolina land deeds.
There were many entries where Robert Daniel is merely referred to as the landgrave, or the Deputy Governor, or the Hon. Robert Daniell in group of commissioners for granting & selling land. I put the first few in, but eventually just noted these entries rather than include them in their entirety.
Of course, any errors in these are mine, with apologies. And if you know of any reason why I may not publish these extracts in this form, please let me know! E-mail me at:

(Sorry, have to copy by hand, the harvesters and spammers have gotten to be too much.)
